(Steubenville Gazetteer, July 15, 1904) Maude Coulter, daughter of Edward and Minnie Coulter, died at her parent’s residence, corner of Sixth and Adams streets, on Saturday, July 9, 1904, at 9 p.m. aged three years. She was an interesting winsome little girl, whose sad death comes as a crushing blow unto the little family circle. The funeral service took place this afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Dr. Smith officiating. The pallbearers were Clara Copeland, Rena Melching, Maria Duffy, and Katie Slee, and the flower bearers were Myrtle Potts and Lillie Melching.
