Obituary

(Daily Herald, July 29, 1882)  Mrs. Rachel Ong- Smithfield, O July 28- Died last night at 12 o’clock. Mrs. Rachel Ong, wife of Will Ong, Wheeling, W.Va., of firm of Ong and Hammond… also daughter of Mrs. Harriett Hammond, of Smithfield O, of scarlet fever. She leaves one child about eight months old. The body will be brought to Smithfield today, and will be buried from her mother’s residence tomorrow in the Northern Cemetery.
