Levi Scott

The two pictures were copies sent me by Frances Frisbey Dekker in Indiana. John Frisbey was her grandfather. Her father was Cary (Carey) Frisbey. (my grandfather Cary Lorenzo Gilson was named for him) Lovinia V. Frisbey was the daughter of John Frisbey and an aunt of Frances Dekker. Frances wrote a book on descendents of William Frisbey and Ruth ? Frisbey. The lady that checked newsppaers for me could not find any information on the death of Levi Scott. She found another Scott killed by a horse but not Levi. Also have a copy of obituary of Levi Scott's first wife in late 1840's - about 4 inches of column. but nothingon Levi who had land, blacksmith shop and some other industry plus a brother and two sisters involved in the county. Both John Frisbey and Lovina are listed in the "Descendents of Peter Van Clief" also. John married Marian Van Clief there in eastern Ohio.
