Michael Welton

{Steubenville Weekly Herald, Mar. 4, 1915} Michael Welton – died at his home on Washington Street on Sunday at 3:30 a.m. aged 88 years. He had been in failing health for some time following a stroke on Sunday week ago. He was born in Ireland, and had lived here for five year. He was a Civil War Veteran. He was married to Ellen Fox, who survives with these children Mrs. Mary Nolan of Kensington, Ohio; Robert of Cleveland; Mrs. Eleen Meek of Wheeling; Mrs. Kate Burrier, of Bridgeport; James of Wheeling; David of Pittsburg; and Mrs. Hannah Wagner of Toledo. His remains were taken to Bellaire today for interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
