Peter Critser

Peter Critser – Veteran of the War of 1812 - He is buried in the Bacon Ridge/Montgomery Cemetery in Ross Township. This photo was taken 2 years ago (Fall of 2006) and his stone is now in pieces and can no longer be read. The cemetery is currently being cleared of brush, trees, and a fence will be installed in the spring of 2008 with a front gate. Most of the damage to tombstones in this cemetery have been from the neighboring cattle and many years of neglect. {Photo taken by Flora L. VerStraten}
