ARMSTRONG, Gabriel

• Will of Gabriel Armstrong is in Jefferson County Will Book # 3B, page 452, dated 13 Jan 1836.  Probate 20 May 1844.
• Caldwell's History of Jefferson County and the 20th Century History of Steubenville and Jefferson County list him as being active in the St. James Church c1816 and as a Warden of the Church in 1825.  
• Vol. 1, page 342, Jefferson County Cemeteries list him as being buried in St. James Cemetery, 2/??/1844, age 91.  
• Tombstone Inscriptions and Family Records of Jefferson County, pages 187 & 12, have him also in St, James Cemetery in 1844 but at age 82.  

However, we are still seeking proofs that will  indicate if this Gabriel is the same one who served from NY in 1776 and attempting to  locate any info on any Gabriel Armstrong who served in the Rev. War.
